Newyorkeza

I read a nice small story in the NY Times of today. It goes like this:

Somewhere in the Upper West Side, I found myself surrounded by a group of 7 and 8 years old children. One of them said, "I am born in New York and I speak Chinese." "I am born in New York and I speak Spanish," said other kid. "I am born in New York and I speak Russian," followed another.

"And where are you from?"

"Well, I was born in Connecticut," I answered.

"Wow ... and what language do you speak there?"
