The two oils of Cecily Brown were very distinct from the rest of what was exposed at Paint Made Flesh. No Hyperrealism at all, just joy of color, frenetic joy of painting: her works are in the same time abstract and figurative, they just celebrate the liberation she finds in the act of creation.
