The Grand Solo of Fernando Sor: it's unique in its beauty. I had in Bucharest a record with Vladimir Mikulka playing Sor: this Grand Solo, along with some of his Studies. Here it is William Kanengiser performing.

I think Sor is the Chopin of guitar. I found at both the same noble nostalgia. During Napoleonian occupation of Spain, Sor had been on the part of the French camp, so he had to flee his country after that and was never allowed to come back.
