Jones Point Park
located on the Potomac River on the southern edge of the Old Town underneath the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, it was a critical piece of the city of Alexandria's history as one of the largest centers for shipping, manufacturing, and transportation in the nation; its lighthouse, built in 1855, is the last remaining riverine lighthouse in the Commonwealth of Virginia (Jones Point Park)
I was there one day. It is a place with a subtle beauty. A lady was sitting on the porch, and we chatted for a while. Or was it a dream of mine?
