Thoughts for Hamangia at Hirshhorn

Henry Moore, King and Queen
Henry Moore: King and Queen

Each time I visit the Hirshhorn Sculpture Gardens in DC I come in front of a work of Henry Moore, King and Queen. And my mind runs far away, towards Dobrogea, where a King and a Queen are carrying for us a message eight thousand years old.

Hamangia: The Thinker and the Sitting Woman

And then, I ask myself whether the King of Moore and his wife the Queen, or the King and Queen of Hamangia, are not the same (I mean the same with a King Crypto and his wife Enigel)?
Mult indaratnic menestrel,
Un cantec larg tot mai incearca,
Zi-mi de lapona Enigel
Si Crypto, regele-ciupearca!
