Tel Aviv Museum of Art

Eugène Cuvelier got married with the daughter of an innkeeper in Barbizon and moved there. He spent endless hours in the forest of Fontainebleau taking photos. His works would be rediscovered at the beginning of the 1980s. Now the photographs made by Cuvelier are hosted in prestigious museums, Metropolitan and Musée d'Orsay, among others.
