Barry Cottrell

Barry Cottrell is the foremost engraver on copper in Britain today; his work is in the direct lineage of Stanley William Hayter's great revival of engraving, and transformation of it from a means of transcribing and interpreting works by others into an independent branch of original printmaking (I quoted here the opinion of Neil Philip).
