Interior photograph of Nathaniel Dan Grosz’s butcher shop in Parkston, SD, circa 1905. Dan stands at one round-head butcher block, while his young son Carl stands (far right). Carl Grosz later was blacksmith and automobile engine mechanic at Ethan, SD. Carl’s uncle Gottfried was blacksmith at Parkston, SD.
