A musical film directed by Giacomo Gentilomo, telling a very fictionalized story of Caruso's young years. The correspondence with the real biography is extremely poor. But it's told nicely, Gina Lollobrigida's beauty is miraculous, like a fairy tale, and the voice of Mario Del Monaco is incredible.
