Profile: Barack Obama

Barack Obama
Take notice to this guy: he could be one of 2008 most serious contenders. I think he is unique (Sen. Durbin), It's very exciting for him to come here (Icqua Colson), I don't believe there is another candidate I've seen, or an elected official, who really has the appeal that he does (again Sen. Durbin), I haven't seen a phenomenon like this, where someone comes in so new and is so dazzling (Sen. Schumer), I think it's going to rewrite the game plans in a lot of presidential candidates if he makes that decision (Sen. Durbin, again), Everyone wants him. He's lightning (again Sen. Schumer), Barack Obama, a first-term Democratic senator from Illinois, seems to be hitting the right notes these days (WaPo).

Obama - he makes jokes, saying that people render sometimes his name as Alabama or Yo, Mama - he refers to himself as a black guy before white audiences, a brother before black groups.

What will be next? Well, there is a story line, and Obama has to find the right answer to it, Rising star comes to D.C. and how quickly will D.C. corrupt him?
