Julian Alden Weir

I met with the work of J. Alden Weir firstly at Phillips Collection: Woodland Rocks, a superb depiction of a moment in time. You are on a journey in the mountains, you already did a part of the road, it is the past, road is still in front, waiting to be done, there is a moment here, now, not past, not future, just present, frozen bit.

What I like much more from J. Alden Weir's work is this Red Bridge that I have seen only on the web. It is at the Met.
