Sokurov

I think Sokurov is very different from Tarkovsky. Tarkovsky tries to understand the whole universe in its complexity, while Sokurov tries to find the essential through a drastic minimalist reduction. Maybe Kore-Eda is as austere as Sokurov. I don't know, I could be wrong.
