Foreign Languages in Fairfax County Schools

Eight spoken foreign languages are taught throughout the Fairfax County Public Schools:

• French - at all high schools
• Spanish - at all high schools
• German - at 20 high schools
• Japanese - at 10 high schools
• Arabic - at 2 high schools
• Chinese - at 2 high schools
• Russian - at 2 high schools
• Korean - at 1 high school

Latin is offered at 22 high schools. American Sign Language is taught at 13 high schools.
