A Gem Hidden in NW Argentina: Jujuy

Salt deserts, untamed jungles and rocky mountains threaded by Quebrada de Humahuaca — a onetime Inca trade route; here pagan traditions leave Catholic rituals in shadow, wizards are preferred to doctors, and everyone and everything embraces a heritage going back to the 10th century. Let's stop a bit here, to pay tribute to Pachamama, the Earth Goddess and Mother of Universe.
