Nancarrow Played by Calefax

This time I give you Studies on Nancarrow, rather than by him. The Dutch reed quintet Calefax (Oliver Boekhoorn - oboe, Ivar Berix - clarinet, Raaf Hekkema - saxophone, Jelte Athuis - bass clarinet, and Alban Wesly - bassoon) plays studies # 2a and 3c. Though they don't recreate the tens of voices for Nancarrow's original, listening them helps better understand the music of the master.
