David Ensign, the minister at Clarendon Presbyterian Church: in searching our way of being the body of Christ, due to the form the Presbyterian church government is organized, two aspects come out - gratitude and frustration. Gratitude for the requirement to work and advance together, frustration for the requirement to work and advance together. Because the Presbyterian community at large is Church Reformed and always being reformed, thus each local community must remain open to the new ways the Spirit is moving within their midst. And things must be done decently and in order, and in relationships of mutual accountability. That requires a spiritual commitment to discerning God's call in community and the patience to stay in relationship even though discernment often takes a long time.
