I found several Czech web sites where Rudolf Kopitz is mentioned. And I found his name mentioned also in several web sites devoted to Edward Hartwig. Kopitz was his professor at the Institute of Graphic Art in Vienna, between 1935 - 37.

Natalia Krasicka said about Edward Hartwig that his work covered more than a third part of 150 years of the photography history. He was photographing everything, only everything was photographed in Hartwig's own kind. His secret was to take the pictures at down, without the recourse to daylight. In his more later years he began to be interested to mix the graphical and the real. So he created shapes, objects, characters, that were new and unquiet.

Hartwig's Accordion is amazing!
