Splendid image showing together two French composers of the 19th century: surrounded by friends, Debussy is playing the piano in the home of Chausson, at Luzancy.
- Following the Raven in Baltimore (Debussy, Reverie)
- Story of a Dance (Debussy, Suite Bergamasque)
- Virginia Square (Debussy, l'Enfant Prodigue)
- La Plus que Lente
As I have already posted on the blog some music composed by Debussy (and I will keep on this), maybe now I should give you a piece by Chausson from 1899, Chanson Perpetuelle. It was his last completed work: half a year later the composer would die in an accident.
