Hollyween

(video by 1981111)

I had an absurd quarrel with a friend, an endless change of absurd messages on the net, and the only good thing now is to watch a video masterfully telling us an absurd story. My quarrel was just absurd, this video is absurd and funny. Hopefully my friend will also watch this video, to have some fun.

1981111 Got a New Toy

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

Says 1981111,

sorry about my cool hair
sorry about my cool voice
sorry about my cool face
mostly
sorry about my cool skill

Well, don't be sorry, 1981111, you are just great!

1981111 Is Testing a New Video

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

1981111 makes a new video, using a Canon 500D. The point is that, like in her other works, the video is made just in front of our eyes: we watch it in its making. This girl is astonishing: it is the same approach as in Vertov 's Man with a Camera.

Just 1981111

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

Today is my anniversary, and this is a very cute piece of poetry offered by 1981111 to all those who browse the blogosphere with open hearts and dreaming minds. Enjoy!

Thousands of Years Away from Dinozaurs

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

We are following what's in Tehran these days; what was in Moldova a couple of months ago; a new generation living in the Internet era, thousands and thousands of years away from dinosaurs.

Supernatural

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

A totally unexpected replica to the last scene from Tarkovsky's Stalker. It is not irreverent. It is fresh, it is unexpected, not at all irreverent. This 1981111 has genius, clearly, genius, and (like Mattie, another young constructor of small gems) lives in the world of great moviemakers, lives and thinks in the universe of great scenes of great movies, and builds fresh replicas.

Geisha versus Jocker

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

Just cute!

And the same sensation, that the video is made in front of your eyes; the long forgotten art of Vertov!

Net Friends

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

Great video: it's a poem about the beauty of net friendships; the net friend is suggested here (with some ambiguity that's on purpose); the friend is never showed full face; it's Mattie, and the images are the style of Blwolf and of Mattie! The lesson is subtle: follow the images in a movie, rather than the plot.

Shake it

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

Do just that: shake it!

Isn't it great?

Firework

A sequence of images with the poetry of Wong Kar-Wai's Chungking Express.

Graffiti

(video by 1981111 - blwolf)

it doesn't have to make sense .
just follow your intuition
try it

(thus spake blwolf)

A video that is composing itself, with the freshness of Dziga Vertov's movies.
